[Cameron can be found today manning a small clinic that looks a bit like this, going about her business of making the world a healthier place. She's not looking to help anyone fight but if you're hurt, she's here to help heal you. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL...]

Another Day, Another Near-Death Experience

If there's one thing I know about adventurers, , it's that you can always count on them to find new and exciting ways of getting injured. No one ever thinks about the toxic mold that could be clinging to that hidden treasure, or the side-effects of that faintly-glowing potion some alchemist swears is just a harmless energy drink. And they never mention any of it to their doctors, either!

I had a patient last week who neglected to tell us his great-grandfather was bitten by a radioactive spider, and the allergic reaction to the anti-venom we gave him almost killed him before we could properly figure out what was wrong with him. It was the last we had, too!

[Cameron pauses and looks you up and down.]

Think you could lend me a hand?

Quest Objectives:
Bring three [Large Venom Sacs] to Allison Cameron in the First to Your Aid clinic. Venom Sacs can be found on any arachnid creature within the City, Underground or in the Forests.

You Will Receive:

- 10,018 Experience [or 3 Red compensation at max level]

[ooc; Cameron is a WoW-style questgiver! If you're not interested in doing the 'quest' though, feel free to just chat her up. ^_^ Bringing her some venom sacs from (allowably small) NPC spider monsters will indeed net you some healy items, but if they're given to the un-cursed or held onto past the end... well, I hope you like ace bandages XD Use your judgment re: cross game-canons, it's all in fun. Ping me on aim / email / carrier pigeon if you have questions.

Quest can only be done ONCE per person, but is open to as many characters as are interested! I h-hope it's not too hideously confusing ^^;]

Five for a party, ten for a raid. Or twenty-five, depending.

Twenty-five. And you've got enough energy for everyone? I find that hard to believe.

Well, now and then I need to stop and have a drink.

[Penny is mildly confused. She woke up looking rather different today, there's a stave in her hand, and she has this inexplicable urge to do quests and smite monsters and collect loot (not being a gamer, she really can't explain these urges). Thus her befuddlement when she finds herself at the First to Your Aid clinic.

And--wait. She's a priestess (how does she know that?). She can't even--]

I really, really want to help out, but question... can we do this with friends?

[Cameron's... well, different and not different. A holy priest is about as close as you can get to being a doctor, and she's still more or less herself, just with an odd sense of priorities that don't make much sense from a rational point of view.]

Of course! It's completable with a regular party-- so, up to four other people can help you.

[Unfortunately for Penny, her mind didn't get fully caught up in the curse. That probably shows. Poor girl never really played games at home.]

Oh! Thanks. Then I'll just... go find some people.

[She walks away uncertainly, mumbling something that sounds rather like "I'm such a newb."]

[Cameron's surprisingly internet-illiterate, usually, and she wouldn't have the first idea of what to do with an MMORPG. But well, curses are good for making nonsense coherent. She bounces in place a little.]

[Don't ask how she knows your name. Questgivers always do.]

[Penny is back and she has three Large Venom Sacs (not to mention a lot more experience fighting spiders than she might have wanted).]

Quest-giver Allison? I've got your... spidery bits.

[Is Cameron annoyed at the wait? Nope! That's the beauty of questgivers, no matter how urgent the matter is they're exactly as patient when you return as they were when you left.]

Thank you, Penny! And just in time-- we've had an unusual number of spider bites today.

Here, let me give you something for your trouble...

[She takes the venom sacs with a nod of thanks and crosses the room to set them on a table, then returns and hands over your stack of bandages and three red coins, since 80 is level capped!]

[Yay for patience!]

Must be the weather. Or something.

[She accepts the quest reward rather gleefully, never having completed a quest before.]

Any chance you'd be wanting more than three?

Just three will do; the toxins break down over time, so it doesn't do to keep too many in stock.

[Sorry Peter, this quest isn't repeatable, though you can always give any extras to your party-mates for them to turn in. Sob. Because Warcraft logic is like that.]

Three it is then.

Those spiders can be vicious, you could always try selling any extras.

[Because hey, why not turn a profit if you're a valiant warrior? There are plenty of people who can't fight, or are too lazy to go out and do it.]

That's an idea. Some of these other creatures make the spiders look tame.

You've been fighting out on your own all day?

[Chase really isn't sure whether to be more distracted by... whatever the clinic has turned into, or the possibilities of looking down Cameron's top. Currently the latter is winning out, but only because it's hard not to stare at her after a request like that.]

...Yeah, I'll go track down a deadly for you as soon as I'm done with lunch. Any preferences on the venom type? Widow? Funnel-web?

[She's not that kind of pseudo-NPC, Chase. Nor does she uh. Notice anything odd, or any attempts at sarcasm. The drawbacks of having a scripted existence.]
