Does anyone recognize any of the worlds that have been appearing outside the City? I mean, has anyone seen the City exit into their own world, or been able to find their way home?

For that matter, is there any way to tell if these places are real?

The zombies, that was LA. I used to live there. It just wasn't as...rotting, composing, brains I need brains.

Can you be certain it was the same LA, though? I know that sounds strange-- but geography seems to be common in many otherwise disparate worlds.

I hope it wasn't. No. I can't be sure. Everything was still in the same place but there were 98% more zombies than before.

Probably not. Most of these curses aren't. At least not after the day of it.

Why don't you think it was real? Other than probability.

Probability plays the greatest part in it. If anyone could positively identify a world as their own, it would seem much more likely, but as it is... well, I suppose it's really a moot point. If these are real worlds, the evidence suggests the City's moving to places no Citizens have come from, meaning it's unlikely that this will prove to be a way home.

Sort of why I'm not playing their game. Besides, it's a way home for one person. That's not gonna work for me.

I haven't recognised any of them so far as any particular specific world. Today seems a bit kind of your generic Lord-of-the-Rings-with-the-occasional-homicidal-unicorn sort. The first one had the best chance of being real, I think, but I still didn't recognise the place.

So I've heard... And I know it can't have been easy, seeing it in that state. But are you sure it was the right Los Angeles? The same cities exist in a number of different worlds.

Because it's not possible for the City to be real. Not in any meaningful sense of the word.

So- you believe it's fake. In a hallucinatory manner or in the way that nothing that happens here can possibly happen under any stretch of the imagination and the horrors of being here must be some sort of trickery?

Provided you're still alive in your own world, nothing that happens here can have any real effect on that reality. As such, they're real enough during the experience, but ultimately, rationally not significant.
