Has anyone ever seen a naturally occurring medical condition present as a result of a curse?

I've seen infections spread by curse-induced vectors, but that's not entirely the same thing.

[What a wonderfully nonspecific term. A patient. If she were feeling a little friendlier she might oblige without any more questions; but on top of everything this cursed condition has her on edge.]

Wouldn't it be as effective to consult your patient and see if their condition has changed?

If I'm mimicking someone else specifically, it seems likely that it would be. Besides-- if you're correct in your assumption, wouldn't it be more useful to establish what your patient's physiology is like when it's acting normally, than to observe mine when it's irregular?

[It's possibly the most selfish thing she's ever pointed out. Cameron's not sure why she's so intent on not letting him know he's right... perhaps it's just a matter of principle.

Then again, if she'd put two and two together and knew he was talking about Claire, they wouldn't even be having this much of a conversation.]

I've had that chance before. I haven't had the chance to observe anyone else with the... condition.

I'm not convinced this is any more scientifically aimed than satisfying your curiosity, that's all. If you're even right.

I have a patient. That's who I'm thinking about. Attractive as the inside of your head is bound to be, I haven't been sitting here waiting for excuses to get under your skin.

I don't believe your curiosity is medically relevant.
