Given the chance to get a look at your future-- assuming that under the circumstances, that knowledge doesn't grant you the ability to change it-- would you want to know?

Look. If somebody tells me that on Tuesday, I'm going to get hit by a Mack truck, I'll make sure that on Tuesday, I'm not wearing my favorite pair of thigh high boots. I'll deal with the truck when I see it, but I'm dealing with my fashion choices now.

If you don't think it's not, you're a complete idiot. That's what information is for: being prepared for shit to hit the fan. Have a backup plan for your backup plan. Since my first backup plan would be to not become roadkill and that plan doesn't work, at least my second plan of not ruining my brand new Pradas will work. That and my third plan of getting nailed as hard as I can on Monday night.
