He was half conscious when we found him, I thought the pop quiz could wait. [And, muffled because it sounds ridiculous] Maybe a vampire.

[Cameron pauses. That implies a mode of attack.]

How much blood did he lose?

Not as much as he could have, considering something nearly ripped his throat out. And Eden was with me.

[Oh, yes, he hasn't mentioned that to anyone.]

She's... She's living with me, for a bit.

[If she can't be mad at him for sleeping with other women, she can't be mad at him for living with other women, either. It's surprising, though, which accounts for the flatness of her tone.]

I assume he's not conscious, or he'd be trying to climb out of bed. Unless you've got him restrained.

[He's barely been sleeping at all since Eden moved in. Somehow it's not comfortable when someone who tried to kill you is snoring in the next room. But there are reasons he couldn't say no.]

Wilson's been here since last night, you'd need to ask him for the up to date report. I was just heading out for a break, and I didn't know if you'd been called.

[More so Chase can take his break without worrying about what she's heard than anything, but who knows what he'll infer from her interest.]

[He's not a complete ass. House had recently walked away from a shooting, at the time he's from, and he'd expect her to be worried. He is, not that he'd say it.]
