This isn't my first time through. Though I admit, I've never landed in any place like this before. You're lucky - you might have landed in the Permian.

I don't think it's anything, except a complete unknown. Though I'm fairly sure it's not the Permian era.

As I said, it's just called the City-- no real name, not so far as we know. People from all manner of worlds end up here on a fairly regular basis, though events like this one are... not quite so common. There are beings in charge who style themselves deities, and every few days some sort of reality-altering event called a curse happens, afflicting a random assortment of Citizens. No one here is a native, except perhaps the Deities.
