I should have guessed we were just about due for this... visitation? It doesn't seem fair to call it an invasion, since many of you are as unwilling to be here as we are.
It never lasts long, at least.
[ooc; please no duplicates of existing House cast without the concerned players' consent. ♥ Cameron is forever season 3, she can forget things if she needs to but in general, please just be gentle with spoilers. BACKDATING FRIENDLY because life > me~]

Wow. I definitely made a wrong turn somewhere.
[Oh, hi person she's just taken notice of!]
Oh! Hey! I'm sorry - kinda new still.
[And with a laugh, she turns on her heel to face... not the hallway she came from. And turns partially back]
Was that hallway always like that?
action;
As far as I know, yes. It might not be the hallway you came in from, though.
[Possibly not the most helpful thing but well it's hard to explain.]

Besides, if push comes to shove today, she prefers that Cameron do her the favor she's come to ask about. So that's why Angela finds herself sneaking through the hospital hallways, as much as a thirty-eight and a half weeks pregnant woman can sneak without being noticed, which really isn't much. But she tries anyway and makes it to Cameron's office, where she knocks lightly on the door, hoping the doctor is alone.]

Angela, how--
[And then she glances down as she pulls the door further open and steps back to let the other woman in... and stops in mid-step, eyes wide. Well that's sudden. Wrong person, maybe? She looks back up.]
Oh...
action »
Yes, I know. Big, huge, looks like a school bus on legs. Remind me never to wear yellow if I do this again.
action »
I should start by saying congratulations, I think.
action »
[Crossing the room, she takes one of the chairs in front of Cameron's desk and sits it in, while the other one is used to prop up her feet.]
I guess before I ask for my favor, I should tell you not to bring this up outside of here.
action »
[She trails after and leans on the side of the desk, smiling faintly.]
What can I do for you?
action »
I'm pretty close to my due date, so the baby can come at anytime, including today. If I go into labor, will you deliver for me?
[Angela could have asked any of the other doctors in the hospital, House included, but she needs somebody she feels comfortable with and trusts. Funny how it ended up being Cameron, but with the details Angela hasn't dropped yet, she needs somebody with compassion.]
action »
[She manages to keep a creeping note of worry out of her voice; what would it mean if Angela's baby were to be born in the wrong world?]
I'd be honored.
action »
Also, I should warn you that if it does happen to you, there might be some complications with the baby.
action »
action »
I'm a carrier for Leber congenital amaurosis. So's Hodgins. The baby has a twenty-five percent chance of being born blind, but that's more of a percentage than I'd like to begin with.
action »
We'll take care of you, if it happens while you're here.
[She desperately wants to say it will be all right, but by now she's learning her lesson on that count.]
action »
[That much is obvious. However, what does she expect Cameron to do? There isn't a hardcoded curse for this and blindness is blindness. There are so many people who are blind that live long and fulfilling lives. Angela knows this, but still, can anyone blame her if she wants her child to be free of that genetic disposition? It may not be all right, but if there's a chance than a medical professional from another world might be able to do something just in case, Angela's willing to play that hand.]
It's a lot to dump on you, I know, but... [I'm desperate. In case her edge-of-sobbing expression doesn't show.]
action »
[A little weakly, she smiles, and reaches for Angela's hand.]

Okay, apparently this kid hates hugs or needs food. Probably both. Lunch?

Sure, as long as you're not too worried about bumping into yourself. I could bring something back?
I love the Scrubs cast invading the House cast. So very very much.
they are basically the same show in my heart
Scrubs is actually more accurate, though, amazingly enough. Fun fact!
Also, on that same note, be wary of anyone that calls themselves 'The Captain'. Especially if you don't like boats. He really likes boats.

I only meant the influx of temporary Citizens. As far as the City goes, that's a harmless curse.
